SELF - ASSESSMENT

In English classes I have learnt how to pronunciate well and thanks of that I pronunciate better than last year. I think I can read better and it's the best thing I do.I have enjoyed Michael's classes. I have learnt a lot: about Ireland, and its people I love it! I want to travel to Ireland.

GEOGRAPHY - PHYSICAL OR HUMAN GEOGRAPHY?

It's physical geography or human geography?

• A plane: In this picture I see a plane flying. I think is human geography, because is a mean of transport.

• A storm: Here, we can see a heavy storm, the clouds are very dark and you can see a volcano too. I think belong to physical geography because there are plants and there us a change in the weather (the climate).

• A geyser: In this image, I see a hard water getting out of a whole in the Earth. I think is physical geography because is related with the hydrosphere. 

• A classroom: In this picture, we see a classroom with a teacher and lot of kids. I think this slide is human geography because we don't see any natural features.

• A countryside (1): In this picture we see a countryside with trees and roads. I think this picture belong to both geographies because there are roads, that belong to human geography, and there is a land cultivate and a lot of countryside.

• N.Y.: We can see N.Y. City with lots of skyscraper. I think is both geographies, physical geography because we can see a river and trees, but, mainly, is human geography because the skyscraper and a helicopter.

• Another countryside (2): In this slide we see a countryside with lot of roads and cars. I think it's an example of both kinds of geography. Because it is related to human geography, we see cars and roads mainly, but there is countryside and trees, which are related to physical geography. 

• A mountain ranges: In this picture we see a mountain range with a little river between. I think is physical geography , because we see a river lack of water, because of the weather. It can be because of the climate or the hot weather.

• A dam: In this slide we can see a river separated by a wall. I think it is an example of both geographies, human geography because the wall is related to human activities; and physical geography because of the river and the valleys.

• Another countryside (3): In this slide we see a small village and a lot of trees. I think is both geographies because we see a small village after the trees and physical because there are trees and mountains at the end.

• A beach: In this picture we see a type of human geography, the tourism, and a little bit of physical, because of the sea and the rocks. We can see people swimming on the sea. Also, we see tourism activities, because of that is human geography too.

• A waterfall: In this slide we see a a big waterfall. I think is physical geography, because of the water and because there aren't any human activity.

• A long tube: We can see a long tube for transport water from a river to a village. I think is both geographies, because of the long tube made by humans, and in this case, I think is physical geography too, because of the mountains at the end.
